Step 3. Sweep the dust pile into our Metal Dust Pan.
Step 4. Dump the dust pile into the garbage and tap the dustpan with the brush to ensure all dirt shakes loose.

Learn More About Our Horsehair Brush and Dust Pan
This horsehair brush and dustpan set are designed to be your ‘forever’ household tools, so we made them durable, efficient, well-balanced, and stylish. But tough tools only stay that way when they are cared for properly.
Here’s the best way to care for your horsehair brush when it gets dirty:
Step 1. Rinse the bristles in warm water.
Step 2. Use mild dish soap if necessary. Place a small amount of soap into your hand and massage gently into the bristles. Rinse.
Step 3. Blot with a clean, dry towel to remove excess moisture.
Step 4. Air dry with bristles facing down to prevent water from pooling in the base of the handle, as this can cause damage. If necessary, comb out gently using a metal or wide-toothed wooden comb.
Step 5. Once the brush is completely dry, lay flat to store.
How to Care For Your Dustpan:
Your dustpan is designed to be the last dustpan you’ll ever need, so when it comes to care, your list is short. If it gets dirty, rinse it off. If the raw wood handle gets wet, allow it to air dry laying flat.
This dustpan can stand up to heavy use. It is resistant to dents and offers a perfectly flush metal lip for effortless cleanup. It’s also heat resistant, so it may be safely used for sweeping up hot ash and live coals.
