How to keep your fabric looking brand new:

Step 1. For shirts, jeans, sweaters, or other clothing items; lay your garment flat. Make sure it is completely dry!

Step 2. Hold your Fabric Pumice Stone in the palm of your hand. Brush against the fabric using short, gentle, downward strokes. Do not change direction!

Step 3. Keep going until all the pilling is whisked away.

Step 4. Give your sweater a good shake over a garbage can to loosen any residual pumice dust.

Step 5. Admire your handiwork!

For sofas, chairs, and other upholstered fabric:

Step 1. Hold the fabric taught.

Step 2. Hold your Fabric Pumice Stone in the palm of your hand. Brush against the fabric using short, gentle, downward strokes. Do not change direction!

Step 3. Keep going until all the pilling is whisked away.

Step 4. Use a Dust Buster or handheld vacuum to remove any residual pumice dust.

Step 5. Admire your handiwork!

PRO TIP: Our Fabric Pumice Stone isn’t designed for use on wool, cashmere, or mohair. For removing pills from these fabrics, choose our Sweater & Cashmere Comb instead.

Learn More About Our Fabric Pumice Stone

What we love most about our Fabric Pumice Stone is that it is a natural, effective way to safely remove pills from your garments and upholstered furniture. No electricity needed, no replacement parts, and (best of all) no ruined garments.

So, how do we stack up against other de-pilling options?

Electric de-pillers work by pulling the loose fibers of the garments into contact with rotating blades inside the endcap. Unfortunately, this action all too often pulls in the woven fiber threads as well, causing holes and tearing — not at all what we want for our favorite sweaters!

Lint rollers are safe to use on all fabric types but are not very effective at removing pilling. The stickiness of the roller seldom has the power to effectively pull up pills. Additionally, lint rollers create a significant amount of plastic waste that ends up in our landfills.

The Fabric & Sweater Pumice is eco-responsible, effective, and requires no energy (except your own man-power and patience). We might be biased, but we feel it’s pretty easy to see which option wins this contest!

Works SO Well!

I wish I found this sooner. Our new couch pills very easily and very often. I used to cover it with blankets because it looked so bad so quickly. This helps remove the pills so easily, effectively, and keeps the rest of the material soft and beautiful. Our couch looks new again!

Fabric & Sweater Pumice

I was excited to receive this product as I have a great need for it. However, it's a little too messy for me. I rated a 4 due to effectiveness, but also due to the mess.

Miracle Worker

The pumice is much more effective than my electric fabric shaver. The only negative is that pumice crumble leaving black specks over everything. They do come of easily when vacuumed though!
